More Info:

The Ponds is hosting a community wide yard sale which will be heavily advertised in the local area. There's usually quite a bit of buyer traffic for these events, so we won't have to do any advertising ourselves. Live Oaks will take ownership of the event but we hope that others in the church will join us in this effort to help support Mike & Mona Worth. We are accepting items from now until Wednesday the 20th. Time to clean out the garage!

What we need:

  • People who would like to help with the yard sale.
  • Donated items such as: furniture, books, DVDs, good clothing, toys, appliances, household items, collectables, etc.
  • Folding tables to display items

Members of New Day Community Church are welcome to pre-shop the items on Friday evening from 7 - 9 P.M.

As a practicing Marriage and Family Therapist she primarily sees couples in distress and seeks to help them move toward healing and reconciliation. In addition a BA in Communications Studies (from Queen’s Margaret's College in Edinburgh, Scotland) Jennie earned her Masters in Christian Counseling from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in Charlotte, North Carolina. She holds two professional licenses and has received advanced training in couples’ therapy, gaining certification as an Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist.

Mary Hess

A passionate lover of Jesus, Mary Hess has been married to her fantastic husband, Shannon, for almost 14 years. They have two beautiful daughters and a cute little chihuahua. Shannon and Mary are currently living in Waynesville, North Carolina where they are planting New Day Community Church.

As an overflow of her relationship with the Father, Mary uses the gifts He has given her to teach and preach in her local congregation and for special events. Through her obedience, many have been drawn into more intimate fellowship with the Father. Also, Mary’s writing gift touches many as she shares her heart openly on her blog. Her candid portrayal of her challenges, temporary defeats, and ultimate victories in Jesus will encourage you to whole-heartedly pursue Him, too! Mary holds a BS in Psychology with an emphasis on Christian counseling.

When she isn't ministering or writing, Mary can be found enjoying a cup of coffee (or 4) on her porch, enjoying the view of the mountains.
